Olga Ramos, 90, passed away on April 11, 2026. Born on March 31, 1936, Olga was selfless, generous, compassionate, and faithful, leaving a quiet but lasting imprint on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born in San Lorenzo Puerto Rico, Olga carried her roots close to her heart throughout her life. She built her days around love, steadiness, and care—offering the kind of presence that made others feel safe, seen, and supported.
Olga spent her life as a homemaker raising 4 children, giving her time and energy to her family with unwavering devotion. Her home reflected who she was: warm, welcoming, and held together by patience, perseverance, and love.
Olga was the daughter of Hector and Octavia ( predeceased). She was the mother of Israel Oliveras ( Timothy Hamilton), Richard Oliveras, Irka Burgos ( Edward), and Radamez Vinales. She was Abuela to Alyssa, a role she carried with tenderness and pride.
A devoted churchgoer, Olga’s faith was a constant source of strength and comfort, shaping how she cared for others and how she moved through the world. She also found joy in gardening, nurturing life with the same gentle attention she gave to her family—patiently, lovingly, and with hope for what would bloom.
Visitation will be held at Walter B. Cooke Funeral Home, 352 East 87th Street, New York, NY 10128, US, on April 16, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
