Philip J. Mariani, died on August 4, 2023 in his home, with his partner of 55 years Betty C. Listello by his side. He was 103 years of age. He graduated from Villanova University, served in the United States Army during World War II, and following his discharge graduated from Columbia Pharmacy College. He retired as Chief Pharmacist at Manhattan Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital in New York City. He is survived by his partner, his nephew, Alexander Guttieres, and two Grand Nieces, Livia and Lara, all of Rome, Italy.
