God's Garden

God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon Earth, and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you, and lifted you to rest. God's Garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew you were suffering, He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on Earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb, so He closed your weary eyelids, and whispered, "Peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. 

We love you so much Opa and you will always be missed.

Opa, the strongest person I know, and only proved his strength this past week. I will miss you beyond words could say, but I know that you are in a better place. Not only has God gained an amazing angel, but I have also gained another amazing guardian angel. Love and miss you.

Opa, you are the bravest person I know and you have demonstrated your strength these last few weeks. I remember like it was yesterday, spending nights with you and dad. We would order Chinese and you always ordered your lobster and shrimp sauce;and I will never forget the caramels you would give me after. I love you and I miss you, but heaven is lucky to be gaining such a brave angel. Don't worry Opa I'll make sure to carry on the Schroeder name. R.I.P
