On Thursday, May 19, 2016, we lost a dear friend and family member. Dr. Scott Smemo was a brilliant scientist whose humility and warmth were as great as his intellect. His wit always left everyone laughing, and his sincere personality made him a trusted friend and confidant to everyone he met. He held our admiration, our respect, and our love. To his wife, Mary, he was a best friend and an angel who gave her unimaginable happiness and filled her heart with love she had only dreamed of.
We are devastated by his unexpected passing. In lieu of sending flowers, we welcome you to pray for Scott's peace and to honor his life and his memory in a way that is meaningful to you.
