Born on January 4, 1928 to Abe and Bertha Freid, she was a proud New Yorker for all of her 95 years. Following graduation from New York University, she married Dan Winston and later worked as a public school teacher and reading specialist.
Cherished by all who knew her, Suzanne is predeceased by her sister Julia Freid Silberman and beloved son Bill Winston, survived by her daughter, Diane Winston (Chris Bugbee), daughter-in-law Darlene Winston, and four grandchildren, Isabelle Winston Palmer, Courtney Winston, Erin Walters-Bugbee, Sara Heinz, and two great granddaughters.
