Terry A. Croft

Theresa Anne Ashe was born on May 7, 1933 in San Fransisco to Matthew D. (Cy) and Helen Kelly Ashe.

She attended St. Monica Grammar School, The Convent of The Sacred Heart, San Fransisco College For Women (Lone Mountain).

In 1956 Terry moved to New York to pursue acting. Her theatre career spanned five decades and she appeared in many Off and Off-Off-Broadway and regional productions.

Terry is survived by her children Patrica Murphy, Ian, Geoffrey and Douglas Croft, and grandchildren Matthew and Grace Croft, and her loving sister Mary Ashe (San Fransisco), sister-in-law Wanda Hansen Ashe, and was predeceased by her brother Matthew D. Ashe.

Beloved cousin to the Ashe, Siggins, Reyff, McNaughton, Slater, Bartolero families, and honorary cousin Joe Kelly.

A lover of life and family, Terry’s smile, laughter, compassion, and sense of adventure will be with us forever.

Visitation is being held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 (2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00pm) at Chas. Peter Nagel Funeral Directors: 352 East 87th Street, NYC. Funeral service on March 11th at 10:00 at St. Joseph's Church of Yorkville - 404 E. 87th St., NYC.

Burial services to be held at a later date in San Fransisco.
