Kremnitzer—Zita, cherished mother of Sandra, beloved wife of Ernest (1920-1997), devoted mother-in-law of Lowell, proud grandma of Jeremy, Julia, Laura, Marshall, and Wendy, great-grandma of Morgan and Marlowe, dearest sister of Anne Wilk, passed away February 16 peacefully at home. Zita was born in Berlin, Germany on February 15, 1922. She survived the Holocaust and emigrated to New York in 1947 where she met Ernest, the love of her life. Services are being held on Sunday, February 18 at 10am at Riverside Memorial Chapel, W. 76th St. and Amsterdam Ave.
