John Stanley Lobczowski Jr.

John Stanley Lobczowski Jr., age 60 of Lockport entered into rest at his home on Monday, April 25, 2016. Born June 9, 1955 in Lockport, John is the son of John S. Lobczowski and the late Nancy (Carmichael) Lobczowski.

John graduated from DeSales High School and then NCCC. He worked at Harrison Radiator and then GM Powertrain in Tonawanda, NY as an inspector. A member of Wrights Corners Fire Company for 39 years, John was a volunteer, past president and held various offices. He was a scout leader of Troop #40 and past Eagle Scout. John enjoyed the casino, concerts, gardening and his grandchildren.

Surviving are his children: Tim (Liz) Lobczowski of Syracuse, Peter (Jessica) Allowski of Cheektowaga and Daniel (Nikki) Lobczowski of North Carolina. Son of: John S. Lobczowski Sr. Brother of: Cindy Kibbe of Florida, Karen (Doug) Smith of Lockport, Michael (Rochelle) Lobczowski of Gasport and Lori (Wayne) Cockfield of South Carolina. Also survived by 2 grandchildren: Evie and Harrison with one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane, NY on Friday from 5 – 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday from the funeral home at 11:00 am with Father Jozef Dudzik officiating. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Wrights Corners Volunteer Fire Company or Boy Scout Troop #40, c/o Wrights Corners Volunteer Fire Company.
