Norma Clara Freeman

Norma Clara Freeman (Stackowski) age 80, of Lockport, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Facility under Hospice care. Born July 7, 1934 in Cheektowaga, Norma is the daughter of the late John and Matilda Stackowski.

She was married to Harold H. Freeman Sr. He died April 17, 1995. Norma had worked as a stock clerk at Trek in Lockport retiring in 1998.

Surviving Norma is her daughter: Melanie (Chuck) Thompson of Front Royal, VA; a son: Fred (Debbie) Freeman of Barker; and a step son: Hal (Connie) Freeman of Orchard Park, NY. She is also survived by a brother, Jerry Stackowski of Springville, NY, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and dear friend and caregiver: Margaret Fuller. Norma was predeceased by 11 siblings.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11:00 am from Hess Road Wesleyan Church, 2514 Hess Road, Appleton, NY with the Reverend Joe Payne officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Lawn Cemetery, Hamburg, NY.
