Ramona B. Dunn

Ramona B. (Goodrich) Dunn, age 80, of Newfane, NY, entered into rest on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born May 31, 1935 in Walton, NY, Ramona is the daughter of the late: Kenneth and Frances (Scott) Goodrich.

Ramona is a graduate of Walton High School and continued her education at Utica Technical Institute graduating in 1955. She worked as a sales person Dey Brother’s Department Store in Syracuse, NY and later at All State Insurance in Syracuse. She married Wilbur Dunn April 20, 1957 at the Methodist Church in Walton, NY.

Ramona was a member of the Newfane United Methodist Church where she enjoyed helping with all of the churches events. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, reading and all of the time she spent with her family.

Surviving Ramona is her loving husband, Wilbur Dunn. Dear mother of: Brian (Terry) Dunn of the town Tonawanda and Heather (Gregory) Lodinsky of Buffalo. Sister of: Lorin (Janet) Goodrich of Annandale, VA and the late Jason. Sister-in-law of: Janet Goodrich of Auburn, NY. Also surviving Ramona are her 2 grandchildren: Lizzie and Caroline and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane on Thursday, March 31, 2016

from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 from Newfane United Methodist Church, 2699 Main Street, Newfane, NY at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Walton Cemetery, Walton, NY.
