Sadly passed away in Mission Hills, California on the 27th day of January 2022. Alex is survived by his wife and seven children; Carlina, DeAnthony, Jackie, Desiree, Brandon, Mona, and Alexander. As well as two sisters, two brothers, and his step father Thomas Turner.
Alex was born to Carlotta and Alexander Frazier on August 4th, 1968; in the city of Los Angeles, California. While Nookie was in high school he started to become interested in sports, most notably football. Although one of his greatest passions in life was actually music, he loved to sing and was known to even make some of his own songs. As a young man Nookie attended Job Core to better his future, he even started working for Taco Bell in management at the young age of 16. He took pride in the steps he made in his youth and was known to brag about this accomplishment in particular. Wanting better still, he took on yet another challenge, becoming property manager. Even then his appetite wasn't sated and decided a career change was in order. What change was that you may say, well you may have guessed it, he decided the Security industry was right for him. Nookie ended up working for Holy Cross Providence Medical Center where he was then promoted to Supervisor for First Security PBX transportation and safety for over 22 years. Alex's passion for music never left him, and the desire to pursue his dream was always with him. This drove Alex to attend the Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood, California. And wouldn't you know it, that drive to be the best he could be would give him the tools to graduate with his Masters in Music Engineering. NOOKIE ended up owning his own recording studio were he recorded various artists, including himself. His passion for music evolved to include movies as well. If asked his favorite artist Nookie would proudly state it as none other than the Prince of Pop himself "Prince". And with that it was no surprise that his favorite color would be purple. His love for football sparked by his high school days led to one of his favorite pastimes, watching the New Orleans Saints play. His favorite team would remind Alex of his family's origins, his cheers not only for the players but for the city the represent as well. Alex would not neglect team that represented the city in which he himself was born and would regularly cheer for the Los Angeles Rams as well. Alex had another love in his life, food. Often seen cooking for his family and friends with a beaming smile. Although he could also be described as the biggest food critic around. Of all the things that have been listed as his loves and passions, nothing came above spending time with his family. If he wasn't working he was watching TV, shopping, cooking, or even singing for his loved ones. Nookie was a kind and soft spoken person with a big heart. He was always there if you needed him, no questions asked. Alex you will truly be missed by all your family and friends. TILL WE MEET AGAIN. FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS.
A message from Nookie's wife Lupe~
"To my husband. I want to thank you for being the model of what a man should aspire to be. Being a good man is usually just a phrase but you made it your life. You are a good husband, good father, good friend, good sibling, and good son. I can think of no one else who fits that description. We are all saddened by your loss but happy to know you are no longer in pain and we will see you again"
