Bartolome “Bobby” Fluxa Jr. passed away on December 23, 2019 after complications from his battle with cancer at the age of 81 years. Bobby will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Eliana, his son Claudio, grandson Christopher and daughter-in-law Lori. He will also be lovingly remembered by his surviving brother Jose Antonio, sister-in-law Inge, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bobby was predeceased by his parents Bartolome Sr. and Herminia, his brother Lorenzo and sister Angela.
Bobby had a love of life and a sense of adventure tied together with a strong work ethic. He left his home in Santiago, Chile and came to California in 1965 to chase his American dream were he became a contributing member of society immediately. He worked as a photographer, ran an Auto Body and Mechanic shop, as well as a Wrought Iron business. He loved to camp, fish in the Eastern Sierras and Castaic Lake, play games on Xbox, and shoot guns, but nothing topped his love of flying.
A funeral service in memory of Bobby will take place on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., at Eternal Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary located at 23287 N. Sierra Hwy, Newhall. Interment will follow, as well as a reception.
