

Cory James Tarrant was born January 13, 1995 in West Hills, California. He resided most of his life in the beautiful hills of Castaic. Although his life was cut way too short, he lived a full life. Cory did all things with grace and skill. His passion in life was riding dirt bikes. He lost his life doing what he loved. After receiving massive injuries on June 24, he could fight no longer and lost his battle on June 30, 2012. He was a kind and thoughtful son, brother and friend.
Cory is preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Tarrant whom he loved dearly. Cory is survived by his mother, Kathy Tarrant; father, Philip Tarrant; brother, Derek Tarrant; Grandma Dee in Arizona and Grandpa Bob in Florida. Also survived by five uncles, four aunts and many cousins in Wisconsin and Arizona.
We will miss him terribly but feel his spirit of kindness and happiness will be with us forever. Thank you Cory for impacting so many lives at such a young age. We will be forever proud of you.
You may join us in celebrating Cory's life at Real Life Church, 23841 Newhall Ranch Rd., Valencia 91355, Saturday, July 28 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, we will be accepting donations in Cory's name to purchase safety equipment needed at the local tracks where Cory loved to ride. Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 12, Castaic, CA 91384 (c/o Kathy Tarrant) or brought to his service. All donations made will be matched by his mother and father in Cory's memory.
