Diane Adele Richardson

Diane Adele Richardson (Valentine) was born December 6th, 1955, in West Covina, California. She was raised in Santa Clarita, California by her beloved father Lyle Valentine along with her three brothers Rick, Nick, and Terry. Diane married the love of her life Leon in June 1984, becoming a mother to Chris and Cynde. She gave birth to her son Matthew in 1988. Diane enjoyed a long successful career as an escrow officer and lived in Acton, California until her passing on March 10, 2022.

Diane will always be remembered by her endearing spirit and warm personality. Diane was fast to make friends and her sense of humor was at times sarcastic, witty, and always playful. She loved vacations at the beach, camping in Kennedy Meadows, and perhaps most of all, any chance to play the slots. She was known for her wonderful cooking, which she shared generously, and her fondness for reading. Diane was a giver, so naturally Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she did it bigger and brighter than anyone. She was sentimental in the best possible ways and there was never a celebration too little, a life event too small. She knew the small things mattered and reminded us all of that.

Above all, Diane will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, loving sister, and a faithful friend. Her greatest pride and joy was in motherhood and she extended that same love to her nephews and grandchildren. Diane was a woman of selfless commitment to any person or role that she embraced. She was resilient while always keeping an open heart. But as we miss her deeply, her bright and caring spirit will always live with us.
