

Born on June 15, 1945, in Quito, Ecuador, Emma embarked on a remarkable journey that would take her across continents and into the hearts of many. At the age of 17, she moved to Los Angeles, California, where she began building a life rooted in resilience and dedication. As a single parent, she raised two sons while pursuing her professional aspirations with unwavering determination.
In 1970, Emma graduated from cosmetology school and soon after opened her own salon in Hollywood. Her talent and passion for hairstyling quickly became more than just a career—it was her way of connecting with others and serving her community. In October 1979, she proudly became a U.S. citizen, marking another milestone in her inspiring life.
In 1988, Emma relocated to the Santa Clarita Valley, where she continued to cut hair for over three decades. Her salon chair became a place of comfort and conversation for countless clients who often became lifelong friends. Through her work, Emma touched many lives with her warmth and artistry.
Emma is survived by her loving sons George Rosenberg and David D’Angelo; her cherished grandchildren Danny and Nicky; and her daughter-in-law Kristen Rosenberg. She is also fondly remembered by Janene Zdawczyk and many extended family members, friends, and colleagues whose lives were enriched by knowing her.
Emma will be cremated and laid to rest in the Catholic section of Eternal Valley Cemetery in Santa Clarita.
