

Isaac Franklin Williams Jr. was born December 5, 1936 in Easton, MD. Affectionately known as Franklin/Uncle Frank on the East Coast and Brother Isaac/Ike on the West Coast. He was the fourth child of seven born to the late Isaac F. Williams Sr. and Hazel Virginia Williams.
Isaac received his early education in the Talbot County school system where he attended the one-room African-American school house located in Williamsburg, MD. He attended Robert Moton High School and graduated in 1955 in Easton, MD. Isaac enlisted in the Army branch of the United States Military and served as a weapons and ammunition specialist until his Honorable Discharge in 1962.
Shortly after his military service, Isaac moved to Pacoima, California and began working at Montgomery “Monkey” Ward. While working at “Monkey” Ward, Isaac attended Life Bible College and was on the ministerial staff at Christ Memorial COGIC under the late Bishop Benjamin Crouch. At Christ Memorial, a PYT (Pretty Young Thang) caught the eye of Isaac. Isaac and Rhonda met in 1971 and had a quick courtship and married June 25, 1972. They moved and purchased their home in Lake View Terrace, CA in 1975. From this union, their two son’s were born, Damon Rashad and Darrence Anthony.
Isaac had a passion for singing, playing his guitar, and bowling. As a youth, he was a part of a band called “The Silver Stars of Eastern Shores”. He enjoyed watching his old western shoot ‘em up movies and any boxing matches. He also loved foot racing his son’s, nephews, and nieces at family outings during the summer time. With his love for bowling, he infused the bowling in the fabric of his family outings.
Isaac received his B.A. in Theology from Life Bible College in 1979 and moved his family to attend Carlin Ave/ Crenshaw-Imperial Foursquare Church in Lynwood then later Inglewood, CA. At Carlin, Isaac was the assistant Pastor under the late Dr. Paul Hackett. Isaac’s directional compass was extremely limited where the only places he knew to drive to was work and church. He made sure he opened the church doors Sunday Morning, Sunday Night, Wednesday night and any other night for Church service. He later become the Pastor of Community Harvest Foursquare Church in Pasadena, CA in 1997. He faithfully served the community with his outreach ministry until 2015. In 2015, Isaac and Rhonda became members of Holy Assembly COGIC in Pasadena, CA under Bishop Chris Milton.
Isaac Franklin Williams Jr., 89, passed away at home in Lake View Terrace, CA on January 12th 2026. Isaac is preceded in death by both Parents Isaac Sr and Hazel, Brothers, Howard and Jimmy, Sisters, Rosie, Marcella, Harriett, and Martha. Isaac leaves to cherish his memories to his wife Rhonda, sons Damon(Cookie) and Darrence and a host of brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces, from the East Coast to the West Coast.
