A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, John Alden Watkinson Jr. passed away peacefully on Monday, March 15, 2016. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 21, 1935, John is survived by his wife, Sandra; 3 children: John III, James and David; 3 grandchildren: Holley, Jenna and John IV; 5 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Retired business owner of Canyon Auto Supply, John was as successful in business as he was in his personal life. He had an uncanny way of telling a story which would impart his vast wisdom while inciting uncontrollable laughter.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321. In lieu of flowers, donation pages have been set up in John's honor through The American Heart Association and The American Diabetes Association.
