Lois Ellen Moran

Lois “Whitman” Moran, age 83 of Granada Hills, California, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. She was born on July 9, 1930 in Los Angeles, California. Lois was born and lived in the San Fernando Valley all her life. She grew up in North Hollywood, “Go Huskies”. Lois worked for Lockheed Martin in reprographics, retiring after 30 years of service.

Lois married and had five children. She later re-married in 1969, to Edward Moran, who had three daughters of his own. She loved her beautiful blended family. Lois has 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a great great grandson on the way.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Moran; her son, Scott Patterson and her daughter, Mary Lara. Lois leaves to cherish her memory: her sons, Stephen, Christopher and Dale Patterson and her daughters, Patricia, Michelle and Susanna.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 4:00pm- 8:00pm in the visitation rooms at Eternal Valley Mortuary with services to follow on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 2:00pm at Eternal Valley Mortuary, Chapel of the Oaks.

“Mom lived her life for all of her family and loved each person with all her heart. Everyone that met Mom loved her. She will be missed dearly by family and friends. She was truly a classy lady who only looked for the best in all people.”
