Lucy "Chita" Ballestero

Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 7, immediately following visitation with Pastor Joseph Espinoza officiating. Burial will follow immediately.

Lucy was born in Canoga Park, California, to Jose and Teodora Espinoza on March 4,1937. She went to school in Canoga Park. She married William Ballestero on September 19,1962 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, William, and son, Michael.

Lucy is survived by her children Manuel (Lisa), Mark (Carol), Matthew (Natalie), Mary Ann (Vincent), Monica (Mario), Mario and Melissa (Danny).

Grandchildren: Dylan, William James, Michael Allen (Ashley), Monique (Jesselyn), Naomi (Jairo), Matthew Michael, Michael Mario, Mario Joseph, Tianna, Marissa, Mary Angelina, Mario William, Sabrina, Michael Manuel, Mia (Sonny) and Danny Jr.

Great-grandchildren: Leah, Noah, Isabelle, Lucas, Luna, Jiraiya, Nelliel, Lucy, Oliver and William Joseph.

Pallbearers will be sons: Mark and Mario. Son-in-law: Danny. Grandsons: Dylan, Michael Manuel, Michael Mario, Mario William, and Danny Jr.

Grand-daughter, Mary Angelina will be pallbearer for her grandfather, William, who will also be honored and laid to rest beside his beautiful wife, Lucy.

The family of Lucy wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all our uncles, aunts, and cousins. We are so thankful for you all.
