

Blair Campbell, a 21-year resident of Saugus,CA, died on October 27, 2011 after a five-year battle with Alzheimer's. He was 75 years old.
Blair was born on August 22, 1936 in Muskogee, OK. He graduated from Allen High School in Allen, OK, received his Bachelor's of Arts Degree from University of Oklahoma and earned his PhD from Princeton University and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Blair also served in the U.S Army before being honorably discharged. He worked as a Political Science Professor at UCLA for 33 years before retiring.
Blair is survived by his daughter, Rachel Stevenson of Saugus; his grandchildren, Katie Hill of Agua Dulce, CA, Kristin Hill and Danny Bennett both of Saugus and his brothers, Edward, Joe, and Paul Campbell. His parents, Edward and Janice Campbell preceded Blair in death.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Eternal Valley Chapel of the Oaks. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to San Fernando Valley Alzheimer's Association .
Blair's family wrote, "Blair was a very involved and loving father and grandfather. He was kind, generous and compassionate with an incredible sense of humor. He was liked and loved by all who knew him and lived his final years at Sunrise in Valencia where he was loved by all the staff. He will be missed deeply and forever remembered."
