A joyful snapshot from my family photo album, both incredibly happy on their wedding celebration day are special memories of Mary Lynn & Rick for me.

One last thing I want to share is the unusual love Mary Lynn held for her family as the greatest treasure of her life. Ironically or not, she passed away on the same day as her mom passed, both on June 21, The First Day of Summer, her mom in 2014 and her in 2021, seven years later.

Here are some fond memorable photos, from Oct 12, 1997, which  I’ve recently found of the last Kuhn Family Reunion, held at my family’s farm at Plano, IL, with Mary Lynn and around fifty maternal cousins. I am one of her eleven girl cousins. Us girls were a lot like extended sisters during our youth when at our annual family reunions and were some great times. 
Later on, Rick and Mary remembered me and sent me some updates with a warm holiday greeting, which includes two family photos, 2014, and another photo of their 35th wedding anniversary milestone, 2016, at Palm Desert.  
I surely miss Mary Lynn very much and am so grateful for knowing her and having her in my family.

Bob and family, Mary was one of my first friends when we moved to Wego in 1966.  I’ll never forget Mary got so mad at me when I bought the same purse that she had at the Kmart in Carol Stream, I learned my lesson.  Such a sweet person and so musically talented.  Love and hugs to you all.

I graduated high school with Mary, last time I saw her wa at our class reunion. She was always one of the sweetest woman that I knew. I also remember her so proud in the marching band for our school playing her windpipe (clarinet, flute) that she played so well. Deepest sympathy to the whole family

It has been a long time since I have seen Mary, 1973, when we graduated high school. She was a friendly, talented beautiful young lady. My condolences to her friends and family.
