Mercedes Garcia nacio en Cuba el 23 de Agosto del ano 1932. Una de 13 hermanos. Se caso con Roberto Garcia el 26 de Marzo del ano 1955.

En Abril de 1972 salio con su hijo, Robert y su esposo para los Estados Unidos, con escala de 2 anos en Madrid, Espana. Vivio una vida tranquila en Glendale hasta el ano 2003 cuando se mudo para Santa Clarita. Haze dos meses, se le habia cumplido su deseo de tener un patio para sus flores al mudarse con su hijo, nuera y esposo a una casa nueva. Tristemente no logro ver su jardin terminado.

A Mercedes le sobreviven su esposo, Roberto García, su hijo, Robert García (Loretta), nieta, Lissa Miller García, nieto, Bobby García (Gaby), bisnietos, Alexis, Kaycee y James Miller y Violeta y Camila García, sus sobrinos, Raúl (Maritza), Ricardo (Estella) y sobrinos nietos, Raulito, Einier y Emmanuel y sobrina nieta, Isabella así como amigos y familiares, cercanos y lejanos.

Mercedes Garcia was born in Cuba on August 23, 1932. She was one of 13 siblings. She married Roberto Garcia on March 26, 1955.

In April of 1972 she left Cuba with her son and husband, bound to the United States with a 2 year layover in Madrid, Spain. She lived a quiet life in Glendale until 2003 when she moved to Santa Clarita. Two months ago her dream of having a garden for her flowers came true when she moved in with her Son, Daughter in Law and Husband to a new house. Sadly she did not get to see her garden.

Mercedes is survived by her husband, Roberto Garcia, her son, Robert Garcia (Loretta), Granddaughter, Lissa Miller Garcia, Grandson, Bobby Garcia (Gaby), great grandchildren, Alexis, Kaycee and James Miller and Violeta and Camila Garcia, nephews Raul (Maritza), Ricardo (Estella) and great nephews, Raulito, Einier and Emmanuel and great niece, Isabella as well as friends and family, near and far.

A memorial service for Mercedes will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, 23287 North Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321.
