Miriam Olimpia Fuertes

A visitation for Miriam will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2022 form 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, 23287 North Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary. Arrangements are by Eternal Valley Memorial Park.

Miriam Olimpia Fuertes was born in Managua, Nicaragua to Alfonso De La Rocha and Maria Diaz on December 17, 1938. She went to school in Managua, Nicaragua. She married Gerardo Alberto Fuertes the year of 1959 in Managua, Nicaragua. She worked as a Material/handling packaging Clerk for US Sales Corporation for 15 years.

Miriam Olimpia Fuertes is preceded in death by Gerardo Alberto Fuertes.

Miriam Olimpia Fuertes is survived by her children: Margarita Sanchez, Luz Fuertes, Maria Fuertes, Gerardo Fuertes, Marvin Fuertes: her sisters, Merry De La Rocha and Teresa Garcia; her Grandchildren Mary Perez, Mauricio Rivas, Miriam Rivas, Steven Fuertes, Michael Fuentes, Christopher Fuertes, Natalie Fuertes, and Ariana Palafox; her Great-Grandchildren: Desiree Carranza, Destiny Rivas, Mariah Carranza, Byron Rivas, Marcelo Perez, Emily Cornejo, Emma Perez, Jenny Rivas.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Fuertes, Christopher Fuertes, Steven Fuertes, Michael Fuentes, Mauricio Rivas, Allan Sanchez, Angel Fuentes, Martin Perez.

The family of Miriam Olimpia Fuertes wishes to extend our sincere thanks for their whole family, closest friends and to the nursing staff at Kaiser Permanente in Panorama City, CA and an especial thanks to her doctor, Brandon Firestone, M.D.
