

Norman "Bud" Ross lost his battle with cancer on January 25, 2011, at the age of 80.
Bud and his wife, Frances, have lived in Agua Dulce for the last 11 years. He loved Agua Dulce and, while living there, made many friends. He was a true cowboy. Born in Arizona, Bud worked on ranches as a young man and rodeoed from the age of 16 until he joined the Air Force. While stationed in Nebraska, he met his future wife, Frances. The couple moved to California and settled in the Los Angeles area. Together they raised two daughters, Holly and Kelly.
Bud owned and operated a rebar business, Ross Rebar, for 35 years before he retired. Bud loved trail riding and working with horses. He was a saddle maker as well as an amazing artist.
Bud is survived by his wife, Frances; his daugher, Holly Hori, Holly's husband, Itsuo, and their children, Ross and Noelle; his daughter Kelly Yates, Kelly's husband, Mike, and their daughers, Casey and Jessey. The Yates family has lived in Agua Dulce for the past 20 years.
Bud loved everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 5, at 11 am at Eternal Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary 23287 N. Sierra Hwy., Newhall, CA. Arrangements under the direction of Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, Newhall, CA.
