Patricia Kirkpatrick Smawley, 69, passed away after a long illness on December 14, 2014 at her home in Newhall, CA. Patti was born on November 23, 1945 in Harrisburg, PA and has been a resident of Newhall for the past 7 years. She graduated from Rider College with a bachelors degree and was a casting director/producer for many years before retiring.
Patti leaves to cherish her memory- Robert Smawley of Newhall, CA; daughter and son in law, Stephanie and Michael Weinberg of Saugus, CA.; daughter and son in law, Kelli and Tom Koykka of New Zealand; and grandchildren, Morgan and Cameron Koykka of New Zealand.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
Patti was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and mother in law, who will be dearly missed by family and friends.
