Patricia Ann Pentard

Patricia Ann Pentard, 65, of Palmdale, CA, passed away November 12, 2024. Patricia was born on January 16, 1959 in her family home in Baldwin, LA to Joseph and Nether Joann Pentard. She was the youngest of six children and was dotted on as the baby of the family. She moved to Los Angeles while in her teens and held retail positions at Sears where she met her first husband and longtime companion Gregory Smith. She began her career as a school bus driver with LAUSD in 1985, where she met her second husband William Gardner, and retired from her career in 2003.

Patricia was an avid collector and had an eye for beauty, with the talent to make the mundane appear spectacular with her decorating skills. She was a compassionate lover of animals and cared for over fifty personal pets in her lifetime including dogs, cats, pigs, roosters and many more.

She is survived by her ex-husbands Gregory Lee Smith and William Gardner Jr.; three daughters, Neaicia Lee Smith-Koyle, Alicia Ann Smith and Brittany Yvette (Daniel) Farris; her grandchildren Kayla Koyle, Jaelin Smith, and Elijah Koyle; and her siblings Dorothy Pentard, Alvin Pentard, James Pentard, and Gene Larry Pentard. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Nether Pentard, her daughter Shawna Smith, and her brother Joseph Pentard.
