He was born on November 21st, 1958 to proud parents Catarino and Irene De Leon in Austin, Texas.
Rick was brought to California around the age of 7, graduated from school and went on to be a graphic artist
and billboard painter, which he was very proud of, for 40 years. Twenty eight of these years were shared
happily married with his wife, Daina De Leon. Rick is survived by his wife, two daughters, Sheena and Samantha,
and his sister, Debbie Wohlgang. His hobbies included ocean fishing, painting, playing poker and darts with his friends,
but especially spending time with his loving family. Throughout Rick's illness, he stayed positive and optimistic, making light
of every situation, even when admitted to the hospital. Rick De Leon will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

God, give us grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things
which should be changed,
and the Wisdom to distinguish
the one from the other.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
Taking, as Jesus did,
This sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it,
Trusting that You will make all things right,
If I surrender to Your will,
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with You forever in the next.
Amen.
