

Robert received his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from USC.
He was a retired civil engineer and also served as a technical Sergeant in the Air Force.
Robert was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and lived in Canyon country for 28 years.
"Our dad passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Jan. 3rd. Anyone who had a chance to be touched by him knew what a wonderful, nice man he was. Once he lost his wife, Jane, of almost 60 years in July of 2011, his health deteriorated. They are together again in Heaven."
He is survived by his four daughters, Debra Miller, Laurie Hearn, Melanie Bednash and Gretchen Haener; four grandchildren, Christopher Bednash, Casey Bednash, Edward Keimach and Jenna Calderone; One great granddaughter, Coral Bednash; sons-in law, Tom Miller, John Hearn and Ray Bednash; brother, Bill Haener; several nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Funeral at Eternal Valley Chapel of the Oaks, 23287 Sierra Hwy., Newhall, California, Saturday, Jan. 12 at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at Eternal Valley Memorial Park.
