A Celebration of Life will be held at 10am on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Eternal Valley. A reception will follow immediately afterwards.
Scott was born in Oakland, California to Earl and Maria Cruit on February 10, 1960. Scott had worked in television for the last 40 years, working on shows such as Dancing With The Stars, The Masked Singer, The Oscars, The Olympics, and many others. During his time, he was awarded four Emmys for his television work. Scott was an adventurous and outgoing person with a love for travel, scuba diving, wine tasting, and The Magic Castle. He had a laugh that could light up a room.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Maria Cruit.
Scott is survived by his two children, Maria Cruit(Scott Mareletto) and David Cruit, his brothers Michael Cruit(Brenda) and Jeffery Cruit, his half sister Jacqui Koukol(Orin), and his ex-wife Lori Cruit(nee Maddy).
