Shirley Kathleen Kelley, age 76, a resident of Chatsworth since 1962, passed away April 1, 2011 Golden Nest Board and Care in Northridge. She was born May 23, 1934 in Lincoln, Missouri to the late Harvey & Eula Lynch.
Shirley was a homemaker most of her life. She graduated in October of 1953 from the Central Business College at Sedalia, Missouri. She enjoyed painting, making needlepoint art, and above all else she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald R. Kelley, whom she married in 1956 at Paseo Methodist Church, located in Kansas City, Missouri; sons, Douglas W. Kelley and Christopher M. Kelley; brother, Charles E. Lynch; and grandchildren, Colin, Erica, and Cathleen Kelley.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. The memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Oaks located at Eternal Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary, in Newhall.
