Teresa Ward, 64, of Frazier Park, left us on August 7th, 2024. Teresa was born on July 16th and was one of 7 children from Jo Ann and Billy. Teresa has twin daughters Jennifer and Michelle. She has been with her husband James or “Tex” as everyone knows him, for 30+years. Teresa loved all of her grandkids and enjoyed spoiling them with their favorite things. Teresa loved anything true crime, crafting or sewing, her five dogs: Molly, Max, Mickey, Sarge and Lady, and good Mexican Food. She loved to cook, the holidays won’t be the same without her famous twice baked potatoes or her homemade chicken and dumplings. Teresa was part Choctaw and was very proud of her Native American heritage, which was very apparent if you stepped foot in her home or caught a glimpse of one of her newest tattoos.
Teresa is now back with her brothers: Jerry, Mike and Tommy in heaven.
She is survived by her parents: Jo Ann and Billy, her husband James, her brothers: Billy and Ronnie, her children Jennifer and Michelle, her grandchildren: Phoenix, Emmett, Decklyn, Oliver, David, Jimmy, Taylor, Matthew, Hailey, Chris, Corey, Maddie and 8 great grandkids. Teresa was also reconnecting with her family members, and that brought joy to her life.
Teresa was well known for her stubborn at times, tough, “won’t take anything from anyone” attitude and also her big kind heart. She will be missed dearly, but never forgotten. I know many of us have her art in our houses to remember her by.
Her memorial information will be shared soon.
