Thomas James Coppinger Jr.

March 6, 1934 - May 23, 2014

Our loving father, Thomas James Coppinger Jr, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 23, 2014. Dad was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut but lived his adult life in Southern California. Dad is survived by his daughter Kathleen Coppinger-Perlman and her husband, Harlan Perlman, his son Michael Coppinger and his wife, Angie Coppinger and the light of his life, his grandson, Thomas Egan Coppinger. Dad is also survived by his nephew, Brian Thibodeau, of East Hartford CT, his wife, Terri Thibodeau and their children Ann, Brendan, Michael and Patrick. Our mother, Anna Burt Coppinger and his sisters Ann Thibodeau and Virginia O'Mara predeceased him in death and he now rejoins them. Dad was a very proud Marine and was a Corporal for the First Marine Division in the Korean "Conflict". Dad worked for more than 30 years at Hughes Aircraft and was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan and loved nothing more than following "his" Los Angeles Dodgers. Private graveside services will be held at Eternal Valley Cemetery on Saturday, June 7th.
