Vina Rall

Vina went to be with her beloved husband Oscar on January 10, 2017 at the age of 90 years old. Vina was born on a farm in Longlake South Dakota to loving parents; George and Rosina. She had one sister (Alice) and two brothers, (Dave and Marvin). Her early life was spent working the farm with her father and brothers.

Vina met the love of her life Oscar when she was 14 years old and they married four years later. After she married Oscar they bought a small neighborhood grocery store. It was during that time that she had her three sons; Roger, Delyle and Kevin. The family later moved to California where she held various positions; working at a department store, helping her sweet friend Anita with her sewing business and eventually working for the executives at Litton Industry.

Throughout her life, family and her Church always came first for Vina.

Vina’s beloved Oscar passed away in 2003, followed by her first son Roger in 2011. She is survived by her two sons, Delyle and Kevin. Her daughter’s in law; Claire, Mary and Myvanwy. Granddaughters; Tracy, Cerigywn and Tennylle. Grandsons; Kevin Jr. (Lee) and Timothy. Six great grandchildren; Ty, Jack, Caleb, Kyle, Ethan and Emma.

Vina will be missed for her wonderful German meals, her knitting, and her enormous generosity of spirit, love and friendship.

Services for Vina will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 10:30 a.m., at St Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Granada Hills, CA.
