

Aundria was born August 1, 1944 in Lincoln Co. to the late Claude Junior Rudisill and Dorothy Estelle Houser Rudisill. She attended Lenoir Rhyne College and Western Carolina University where she received her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. She taught second grade at Startown Elementary School for 31 years. She was a very devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Startown since 1966. The passion and love in her life always directed toward her family, her church, and her students.
Aundria is survived by her husband of 46 years, Melvin Lee Coulter; sons Noah Cass Coulter and wife Lisa, and Martin Gabriel Coulter and wife Maria: grandchildren Samuel, Karina, Chess and wife Anna, Mandy and husband Todd, and great granddaughters Carly Beth & Ella Rose.
She is also survived by her brother Donald Rudisill and wife Camelia, a niece Regina and husband Scott Wait II; their children Daniel, Kaylea, Claudia, and Samuel; and a nephew Reuben and wife Robin; their children Caleb and Coleman. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 3:00pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Startown, with Rev. O. Ralph Kraft, Jr. officiating. A private burial service will be held after the service for the family.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Receiving will also be held the day of the service at the church from 2:00pm to 2:45pm.
