Debra "Debbie" Stewart Eller

Born February 11, 1953, in Newton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Glenn W. Stewart and Marie Harris Stewart. Debbie was a 1971 graduate of Newton-Conover High School. She was a homemaker and an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with her grand-daughter, Olivia, and visiting with her friends and family. She relished her past employments as a teachers’ aide and administrative assistant at N-C- High, and her many years serving at ECCCM in Newton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Harold Ben Harris; two aunts; four uncles; and her beloved dachshund, Benson.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Timothy Eller of Catawba; son, Zachary Eller and wife Micah Hamilton Eller of Vale; daughter, Erin Eller of Newton; grand-daughter, Olivia Eller of Vale; brothers, Glenn “Dee” Harris and wife Carolyn, and William “Al” Stewart, both of Hickory; her best friend, Ellen Marlow-Harris of Hickory; one aunt; one uncle; seven nieces; and two nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 7:00pm at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home with the Reverend Tony E. Bunton officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
