Born November 27, 1945 in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of the late Herbert Parks and Maxine Helen Paul Parks.
Gerald retired as a staff sergeant of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served in the Vietnam War. He served in the National Guard, Hickory Unit, 2nd Battalion, 120th Infantry.
He loved motorcycles and classic cars, but cherished his time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 39 years, Terrie Moore Reeve; sons, Richard Gerald Reeve, Timothy James Atkins and wife, Paula, Michael Wayne Reeve, Michael Shannon Atkins and wife, Lisa, Gerald Wayne Reeve, Jr., Shaun David Reeve and wife, Renee; 2 sisters; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Gerald’s life will be held at a later date.
