Born November 18, 1948 in Catawba Co., NC, she was the daughter of the late James Kermit and Clara Earlene Hefner Hollar. Joyce was retired from the furniture industry and was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCray is preceded in death by her brother Randy James Hollar.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Howard McCray, one son, Rick McCray, one daughter, Connie McCray, as well as her two beloved companions, Reagah and Shaina.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. The Revs. Kevin Graudin, Eric Haas and Eric Hollar will officiate, and burial will follow in the Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home.
