Mark Elton Norton

Born December 17, 1957, in Orange County, CA, he was the son of Shirley VanAlice Norton and the late Elton Bruce Norton.

Mark was a loving husband and he adored his son, Nick. He was a loving son, brother and the coolest uncle. Spending time with his family was very important to Mark. He loved building model cars, NASCAR, and enjoyed all outdoor activities, including riding dirt bikes and dune buggies in the desert.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Shirley VanAlice Norton; his loving wife of 21 years, Laura Diane Norton; son, Nicholas “Nick” Norton; brother, Jeffrey Bruce Norton and wife, Kathy; nephews, Timothy Murphy, Jonathan Murphy, Patrick Murphy, Andrew Murphy, Jr., Ben Murphy; nieces, Tami Norton, Kayla Kennedy, Meghan Murphy, Veronica Murphy, Abigail Murphy, and Cheyenne Murphy.

A service to celebrate Mark’s life will be held at 6:30, on Thursday, July 2, 2015, in the Chapel of Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton, with Joda Anderson officiating.

The family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 5:30 to 6:15 at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home.
