She was born September 29, 1959 to the late Manuel de Jesus Marinero and Maria Magdalena Dominguez of El Salvador, San Salvador.
Survivors include her daughter, Edna Abrego; brothers, Daniel Marinero and wife, Ana Vilma, of Newton, and Manuel Marinero and wife, Juana, of California; sisters, Miriam Lorenzi and husband, Hector, of Greensboro, Nora Aracely Moscotte and husband, Luis, of Conover; Gloria Maritza Garay and husband, Roberto, of Newton; and Elsa Maria Marinero of Conover; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on September 2, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Newton at 720 West 13th Street, Newton, North Carolina 28658. Father James Collins will officiate.
