He was born in Catawba County, NC on November 18, 1948 to the late Robert Elmore Setzer and Mable Setzer.
He is survived by wife of 57 years, Sandra Young Setzer; sons, Robert Wayne Setzer Jr and wife Carmen of Newton, Ryan Setzer and wife Alicia of Knoxville TN; daughter, Reginia Turner and husband Clayton of Waverly GA; grandchildren, Caitlin, Carley, Cayla Turner of GA, Krisandra, Eric Setzer of Newton and Josie Mae Setzer of Knoxville TN; a great granddaughter, Everley Turner of GA.
