Virginia “Ginny” Arnett Pearson, age 70, of Lenoir, passed through the holy gates of heaven on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. From this point forward, her body is like new; she is no longer in pain, and her soul lives on forever.
Born July 6, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Claude Bynum Arnett and Alice Victoria Carter Arnett.
Ginny is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William Paul Pearson; son, Gary Wayne Pearson; daughter, Rebecca Gail Duggan and husband, Danny; grandchildren, Michael Pearson, Vanessa Wertz Ayers, Caleb Pearson, Hannah McLendon, Chelsea Pearson; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and beloved pet, Jodie.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
The family will gather friends and family at the Pearson residence following the graveside service.
