Born December 23, 1958, in Honolulu, HI, he was the son of Gerald Ray Taylor and the late Margie Lee Cruse Taylor.
He was a member of Old St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and was owner and operator of Taylor Resources in Newton.
Randy was a loving father, paw-paw, son and brother.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughters, Whitney Taylor, Jessica Holmes; sister, Sandra Taylor Cline and husband, Jim; grandsons, Carson Taylor Jones, Rylan Darnell and a large extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 30, 2015 in the Chapel of Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton. Pastor Robert Sain will officiate.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m., at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home.
