Chuck was born in Washington, Pennsylvania to Wilbert and Virginia Simpson. He had 4 siblings all predeceased. He served his country as a Heavy Vehicle Driver in the United States Army.
Once honorably discharged, he moved to Jersey City where he met his beautiful wife Beverly (Tolomei) who predeceased him. They raised 3 children Charles C Simpson II, Dawn Simpson, and Rosalie Simpson. He is survived by 8 grandchildren Christen, Curtis, Joshua, Nicholas, Brittany, Micheal, Kyle, Andrew and 8 great grandchildren, Chloe, Easton, Lennon, Brennan, Riley, Elijah, Noah, and Elora.
Chuck enjoyed playing pool, woodworking, watching old westerns, playing guitar and listening to country music.
