Claudia Christine Amorim

Claudia was born in Dover on August 8, 1970; she grew up in Hampton Township before settling in Stillwater Township 10 years ago. For 28 years, she served as a dedicated mail carrier; her commitment to service extended beyond mere delivery; she was a friendly face on every doorstep. Claudia was also an avid reader, she found inspiration within the pages of books. She was also passionate about softball; her love for the sport extended beyond playing as she enjoyed coaching young athletes.

The beloved wife to Sergio Amorim, Claudia is also survived by her children, Christopher Burdge (Nicole) and Alyssa Amorim; her grandchild, Payton Burdge; her parents, William and Judy Morrow; her siblings, Terry Morrow (Maribel), Jodie Chadwick (Walter), Laura White (Jason) and Doug Morrow (Christina); her mother-in-law, Fernanda Nascimento; her siblings-in-law, Luis Nascimento and Cristina Patel (Samir) and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Willy Morrow.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
