Eric was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Roger and Barbara Nagel. After earning his PhD he worked as a Chemical Engineer for Union Carbide Corporation for many years.
Eric is survived by his wife, Tatyana Nagel; and his sister, Tanya Nagel.
