James R Wilkens Jr, age 63, of Andover, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Newton Medical Center. James was born July 24, 1958 in Dover, New Jersey to Patricia B ( Troy ) Wilkens and James R. Wilkens. James was a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Sussex County for 35 years.
He was a Past Master and Chaplain of the Harmony Lodge #8 F&AM in Andover NJ. James was always ready to help anyone in need. He enjoyed hunting and fishing along with spending time with family and friends.
James is survived by his brother John R. Wilkens (Jacqueline) of Green Township, his two sisters Jane M. O'Gorman of Andover Borough and Elizabeth Foy (Ron) of Andover Township, his nieces Patsy, Nicole, and Brianna, and his two nephews Danny Jr. and Billy.
James was preceded in death by his father James R. Wilkens, his mother Patricia B ( Troy ) Wilkens, and his brother Daniel Wilkens.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 from 2 pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm with a 7:30pm Masonic Service at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton, NJ 07860. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am on Saturday February 12, 2022 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church on Rt 517 in Andover Borough. Burial to follow in Tranquility Cemetery.
