John "Jack" F. Dugan

Jack was born January 30, 1984. He grew up in Stillwater, NJ and later moved to Virginia where he specialized in metal roofing and general construction. One of Jack’s undeniable qualities was his work ethic and charm. He had a unique ability to talk to anyone and quickly establish friendships. After his time in Virginia, Jack moved on to the Outer Banks where he found his calling, deep sea fishing. The ocean was Jack’s happy place and where he felt at home and pursued his passions. "The ocean stirs the heart, inspires the imagination, and brings eternal joy to the soul," and that's exactly what it did for Jack.

Jack leaves behind his loving parents, Bob and Bear Dugan; his brother, Bob Dugan Jr. and his wife, Yelda Dugan; and his sister, Kelsey Dugan. He also leaves behind many amazing people that cared for him deeply. His dear friend, Stephanie Benson; her loving parents, Bob and Linda Bishop; and his best friend, Mike Baker and his wife, Jillian, who were always there to love and support him.

Jack will be missed by many, all of which know he is in a peaceful place resting at ease
