

He Lived in Oakland and Pompton Lakes, NJ. When he was young, he played on the youth baseball team and was a Boy Scout for many years. When Johnnie was a teenager, the family moved to Vernon, NJ were he graduated from Vernon High School in 1977.
He was employed at the former Playboy Club in Vernon and other restaurants in the area and was employed at the Barn Hill Nursing Home in Newton prior to moving to Morristown, NJ.
He enjoyed drinking his coffee, watching sports on TV. His favorite baseball team was the Mets, and when
he was younger he would make banners and take them to the games. He enjoyed the holidays and spending time with family.
Johnnie is preceded in death by his parents, his niece Kristi Lee and his nephew Zachary Dagis.
Johnnie is survived by his brother George Miller of Mansfield CT two sisters Leanda McCooey ( William)
of Port Jervis, NY Loretta Kennedy (William) of Cape Coral Florida along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
