Born in Iloilo City, Philippines in 1938 to the late Julio Sr. and Ramona Sia, Julio lived a life full of caring, love, patience, dedication, and kindness.
In 1968 he married the love of his life, Celia, with whom he shared a beautiful journey of over five decades. A devoted husband, Julio’s love for Celia was evident in the many profound ways he cared for her—always ensuring she never had to be alone, a promise he always kept.
Julio spent his early career as a liaison officer for a construction developer in the Philippines. At the age of 54, he and his family moved to the United States where he continued his hardworking nature in the payroll department at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital Morris Plains, where he dedicated over 20 years before retiring.
Beyond his work, Julio was known for his gentle and patient nature. He was a loving father to his children and found joy in handcrafting toys and always making sure his children got what they needed— a testament to his craftsmanship and deep love for his family.
Julio will be fondly remembered for his unwavering kindness, his sweet and caring nature, and the love he poured into every aspect of his life.
Julio is survived by his beloved wife, Celia; his daughter Tina (Butch and family); and his son, Vince (Camelia).
A Memorial Mass for Julio will take place at 10 am on Saturday April 5th, 2025 at Our Lady of the Lake Parish located at 294 S Sparta Ave in Sparta, New Jersey.
