Ken was born in Mineola, NY to the late Kenneth J. and Florence (Schroeder) Edwards. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wyoming University and worked in sales for many years. Ken was part of the Newton Parking Authority for many years and was very involved with the Parkinson’s disease support group through Newton Medical center.
Ken enjoyed watching television and sports, especially football. He was a family man who was always involved in the various sports and activities of his children. Ken also loved his dog and rabbits.
Ken is survived by his wife of nearly 38 years, Mary (Selover) Edwards; his sons, Michael, Shane and George Edwards; and his sister, Elaine Edwards.
Services are private under the direction of Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, Newton.
